I love children's literature very much. Initially I wanted to write for children rather than adults and wrote a few stories that were far too descriptive. I had to scrap the first stories and write simpler ones. I wrote these nine stories, as well as some others, in my twenties.
I intended to draw illustrations but found it too difficult to find and work with child models so I had the idea of photographing the miniature people I had made and creating scenes for them.
Rough versions of the stories, along with layouts and illustrations, can be viewed on the next few pages. I don't have any knowledge of photography, photo-editing or a studio. It took me a few years to source, make and photograph the objects and structures.
